Well deserved congratulations go out to ZETA artist Patrick Contreras! Patrick has accomplished the seemingly impossible . . . his new album 'A Little Night Music' rising to #1 on both Amazon and iTunes digital sales Latin charts. Such an accomplishment. If you know Patrick's music you know it deserves this . . . if you know Patrick the musician you know he deserves this! A full year of over-the-top effort has paid off my friend. Watching your rise on the charts this past week was a pure joy and WOW . . . we love the album!

Our long awaited ZETA Stage Mandolins start shipping out this week!

Tom Murphy and Quinton King stopped by to take 'em for a spin and record a few tunes. Tom has been a beta tester for us since day one of this project . . . and he's always so cordial in playing some of my favorite tunes. In this case . . . we launch with a jamtastic version of Jesse James, which is not a regular tune in his arsenal, but he jams on it for me . . . so I can learn some new licks each time.

Our videos will demonstrate the 'acoustic' properties of our mandos as well as our unique polyphonic Strados bridge pickup system . . . which successfully amplifies the true acoustic tone of the instrument with no 'boom box' effect.

ZETA Violins is saddened at the passing of Charlie Daniels. The loss of a legend . . . a friend and supporter of ZETA throughout the many many years of his legendary career. He was much more than a Country Music Superstar. He was a wonderful human being. Perhaps Dolly Parton put it best: "The devil went down to Georgia, but Charlie went straight to Heaven."

NAMM 2020 was awesome in many respects. The Fiddle Player's Hang was over-the-top. Special thanks to Matt Bell for holding it, to Patrick Contreras for all his coordination behind the scenes and all the players for showing up to play. Hope we do it again next year.

It's been 28 years since I took a mandolin to the show and this year marked a true milestone for ZETA . . . introducing the first models in our new ZETA line of custom built acoustic and acoustic/electric mandolins. Scott Tichenor and J.P. Cormier took 'em out for a test drive on 'Lady Be Good'. Thank ya boys!
