ZETA’s flagship Jazz Fusion violin is the ultimate in electric violin design. A state-of-the-art digital MIDI-capable electric violin, ZETA’s Jazz Fusion model brings together the best of semi-hollow body design and high-tech electronic MIDI capability. ZETA’s Fusion body design features a stylistic combination of a traditional acoustic instrument’s lower bout outline with a sweeping, modernistic upper bout double cutaway. By eliminating the large upper bout of the traditional instrument, the Fusion body design facilitates reach to all neck positions and allows for unlimited playing access. A removable third-position stop is provided for reference familiarity. This allows the player to choose to utilize the Fusion violin’s potential for unlimited neck playing access, or to maintain the reference position of the third position stop. The Fusion violin body is a semi-hollow construction of lightweight basswood or mahogany. ZETA’s famous ‘Jazz Bridge Pickup’ delivers a clean, pure violin tone that is favored by artists world-wide. At ZETA, we make both the individual pickup elements (saddle components) and the bridge housings. By controlling the manufacture of all the component parts, we guarantee consistency in fit, finish, and sound. And the ZETA ‘Jazz Fusion’ sound . . . well . . . it is uncompromising.

Our Fusion violins feature a detailed fiddle edge along the top and bottom edges of the lower bout. Other features include; a ‘ZETA’ ebony chinrest, made by us; high quality body-style rigid tailpiece with fine tuners; on-board volume control; 1/4″ output jack; and a multi-pin MIDI output jack. ZETA’s proprietary active internal preamp system increases the power of the pickup signal and filters out extraneous overtones and bow noise. This state-of-the-art system delivers a wide range of amplification flexibility, supporting a variety of tonal characteristics adaptable to diverse playing techniques and styles of music. An internal 9-volt battery provides over 1,000 hours of service on average. Individual string digital outputs allow the use of each string as a separate MIDI channel and separate individual internal gain controls provide string level balancing for analog users.
Included with the purchase of all ZETA violins is our custom ZETA case which features two large internal storage areas for strings, rosin, tuner, shoulder rest, headphones, etc. Additionally, on the outside of the case, are two zippered pockets with ample storage for all cables, music, etc.
ZETA’s case includes 2 custom ebony bow spinners . . . made by us . . . with white Mother of Pearl diamond inlay.
