E-Series Pickup System
The E-Series pickup system is an innovative and original design by Zeta. Applying our proprietary dual piezo pickup system to traditional maple violin and viola bridges (made by Zeta) results in a beautiful amplified acoustic sound with warmth and clarity even at high amplification levels.
The Zeta E-Series violin and bass pickups react to the flex of the wooden bridge as opposed to the simple vibration sensitivity of common electric violin transducer or piezo pickup systems. As a result, the E-Series instrument pickups deliver a clear acoustic tone with minimal sensitivity to the sound vibrations that create feedback in high volume situations.
The use of multiple Zeta piezos also enhances the natural wood tone of the E-Series bridges and projects more of the traditional bow noise and rich overtones preferred by Country, Bluegrass and traditional Folk musicians.
