The Zeta Acoustic Pro violins, available in both 4 and 5 string models, are professional quality instruments designed especially for use in amplified performances where a traditional acoustic body violin is needed. A top-quality and versatile acoustic-electric violin, the Acoustic Pro is adaptable to diverse playing styles and delivers true acoustic tone without feedback problems.
Only the finest acoustic violin bodies are used in the making of Zeta’s acoustic-electric instruments. All Zeta acoustic violins feature solid spruce tops, solid figured maple back & sides, figured maple necks, ebony fingerboards and a traditional varnish finish.
At Zeta we make our own hard-maple acoustic violin bridges as part of the Zeta ‘EV’ bridge pickup manufacturing process. This keeps us in control of the quality we desire, thus providing the consistency the Zeta sound demands.
When your music requires the traditional look, feel and sound of an acoustic violin, Zeta’s Acoustic Pro has you covered. Whether unplugged or plugged-in, Zeta delivers the sound you need.
We also make our own ebony tailpieces and chinrests which come standard on all Zeta instruments. Unique among acoustic-electric violins, the Acoustic Pro features a specially designed internal preamp system that increases the power of the pickup signal. This high-tech innovation provides a wide range of amplification flexibility, supporting a variety of tonal characteristics suitable to diverse playing techniques and styles of music. An internal 9-volt battery provides over 1,000 hours of service on average and is flush mounted in a special high-impact plastic case located on the rear side of the lower bout of the violin for easy access and battery changes. A volume knob is mounted on the top of the violin, to the right of the bridge, with the 1/4″ output jack mounted on the side of the violin, to the left of the chinrest.
Included with the purchase of all Zeta violins is our new Custom ZETA case which features two large internal storage areas for strings, rosin, tuner, shoulder rest, headphones, etc. Additionally, on the outside of the case, are two zippered pockets with ample storage for all cables, music, etc.
Zeta’s custom case is available in Black or Brown and includes 2 of our custom ebony bow spinners . . . made by us . . . with either Heart Abalone, Gold Pearl, or White Pearl diamond inlay.
